The Company constitutes the specific and sole contractual counterpart of the user who intends to use the Website and the newsletter registration service and management of the contact form is provided by the Company. Subscribing to the newsletter and completing the contact form are not necessary to use the other services reserved to the users of the www.matipay.com site, but in order to allow you to subscribe to the newsletter, as well as any demo bookings or sending of communications to the Matipay team, the Company, may process some personal data about you.
Therefore, in compliance with the provisions of EU Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”), the Company, with this document, provides you with some important information on the processing to which the personal data you have provided will be submitted: during the registration to the newsletter and on the occasion of filling out the contact form and the demo booking form.
The Company will process the personal data provided by the user of the Site (hereinafter “User”), in compliance with the legislation on the protection of personal data. The data provided will be collected through suitable electronic and / or paper instruments, with logic strictly related to the purposes themselves and, in any case, able to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the same. The treatment will concern the operations, or the set of operations (such as, for example, the collection, registration, organization, storage, processing, communication, modification, selection, use, cancellation, destruction), mainly concerning the data provided by the User subscribing to the Newsletter”, “Demo Booking” and “Send Messages” free service provided by the Company (hereinafter the “Service”), as well as the data acquired at all the Company sales points / stands (hereinafter ” stand “).
These data will be treated and therefore, processed for the following purposes:
1) to allow the user to register to the newsletter, send communications to Sitael S.p.A. with regard to Matipay product, book demos as well as to allow the company to perform administrative and legal obligations connected to the same services.
2) With the prior consent of the user, to allow the company to send communications regarding promotions, discounts, benefits, as well as to send commercial or informative communications (“newsletter”),
3) with the prior consent of the user, to carry out market research also aimed at assessing the degree of user satisfaction (customer satisfaction) and for reporting all the initiatives concerning products and / or services of the Company and / or third parties contractually linked to the Company that collaborate in the commercial activities of the Company through the exploitation of the platform, by means of automated systems, such as email or SMS, phone calls, mail, etc. (“Marketing”);
4) with the prior consent of the user, for the analysis of his purchase habits (so-called “profiling”), by the Company through the detection of the type and frequency of the transactions performed and, if indicated, of the areas of interest optionally requested and selected by the user in the registration form, in order to send informative and / or advertising material of specific interest to the user in the manner described in point (c) above (“Profiling”).
The information thus obtained will allow the Company to create profiles (individual and / or aggregated) of Users, to develop market and statistical analysis also to improve its products and services and make them more responsive to users’ needs.
The provision of data marked as mandatory on the registration form is necessary to be able to use the Service in question and any refusal to provide such data will result in the Company being unable to perform the requested Service.
The provision of data for “profiling” purposes is optional and any refusal to provide such data (and to grant the relative consent) does not affect the possibility for the User to be able to use the Service referred to in points 1) and 2 ), being understood that in this case the Company could, for example, not be able to send to the User more targeted information and offers and that could be of greater satisfaction and interest for the User. Any consent issued by the User may be revoked and / or modified at any time by writing to SITAELS.P.A. to the attention of the Data Processing Manager for the Marketing Area, domiciled for the position at the Company’s headquarters or by contacting us at the e-mail address firstname.lastname@example.org.
For the correct performance of the mentioned activities, the data of the SITAEL marketing and IT division, as well as the personnel of some companies belonging to the Angelo 2 S.r.l Group, will have access to the data.
The data Owner is SITAEL S.p.A. in person of its legal representative pro-tempore, with registered office located in Mola di Bari (BA), Via San Sabino 21, VAT IT05833770729.
The data Owner uses data controllers to achieve the purposes specified in this statement and a Data Protection Officer (DPO) to monitor the protection of personal data.
In addition, the data may be made available exclusively for the performance of the activities delegated to them, to SITAEL partners providing related services, such as in particular, companies providing IT services, including hosting services, companies that collaborate in the analysis of customers behavior, companies that conduct market research on our behalf, organize events and commercial and promotional initiatives as well as companies that provide commercial services to SITAEL SpA (eg transport and assembly). The User data will not be otherwise communicated or shared with third parties.
In case of request for deactivation and cancellation of the subscription to the SITAEL Newsletter Service, which the User may at any time make upon receipt of the Newsletter (by clicking at the link at the end of the text), the User’s data will be kept for a period not exceeding 12 months for exclusive administrative purposes (excluding any marketing activity or analysis of habits and consumption choices).
In relation to the data processed, the User has the right at any time to exercise the rights recognized by art. 7 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 and of European Regulation n. 2016/679, in particular, among others, to obtain a copy of the processed data, their updating, their rectification or integration, their cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or the block for the processing in violation of the law, to oppose for legitimate reasons to the treatment, or to freely oppose to the sending of promotional or commercial material and to the completion of market research or profiling activities to which the User gave his consent. The Company uses different types of cookies, small text files that the Site sends to the user’s browser where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the Website at the next visit of the same user. Subscription to the newsletter is not mandatory and can refuse registration simply by omitting to fill in the fields.
The Website may transfer this information to third parties where this is required by law or where such third parties process the aforementioned information on behalf of the Website.
You can at any time delete your address from the database in the manner indicated in the previous article 7 or by clicking on the link in each email sent. By clicking on it, the address will be deleted from the Matipay Newsletter database.

The reservation of the demo is not mandatory and you can refuse data recording by simply omitting to fill in the fields.

By filling in the required fields with your data, and by clicking on the registration / send message/ demo button, the Site stores them and keeps them in the database for future use in the manner and for the purposes described in this policy.

The processing of the collected data is managed by the Site through IT and telematic tools with logics strictly related to the purposes indicated below and, in any case, in order to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data.
To send communications for marketing purposes, Matipay uses the service offered by MailChip (The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 512 Means St., Suite 404 – 30318 – Atlanta, Georigia) and then simply “MailChimp”.
